Get fired up, Wolverine fans! The University of Michigan football team will play its annual spring game on Saturday, April 15, at 1 p.m. in the famous Michigan Stadium.
This first practice of the 2017 football season will be broadcast live by the Big Ten Network and will be the first public appearance for the 2017 football team led by head coach Jim Harbaugh. The spring scrimmage will occur six weeks after the exciting 2017 National Football League Scouting Combine, which will take place in Indianapolis on March 3-6 and feature a record-breaking and NCAA-leading number of players from the University of Michigan - fourteen Wolverine athletes will be in attendance at the combine.
The Wolverine football team has an exciting schedule ahead for 2017, with home games versus both Michigan State and Ohio State this fall. The spring scrimmage is a perfect opportunity to preview the team in action before the season begins, and it is a free event open to the public.
