The Saline Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of an outstanding new resource for Saline visitors, residents and businesses alike – a new website located at www.VisitSaline.com. The website launch represents the next phase in the rollout of Saline’s new marketing campaign that is designed to commemorate the city’s intriguing past, celebrate the present, and create new opportunities for the future by placing Saline proudly on the map as a Destination Brand ~ a unique city that offers its residents, businesses and visitors alike, “A Taste of the Good Life, Lightly Salted”. Both the new marketing campaign and the VisitSaline.com website are a celebration of all of the wonderful shops, restaurants, history, culture and local talent that make Saline a can’t-miss destination in Michigan.
VisitSaline.com is now live and features a wealth of information and resources to help Saline residents and visitors discover all the opportunities available to DINE, SHOP, and PLAY in Saline, as well as to appreciate the community’s unique ARTS, CULTURE and HISTORY. The site also features a comprehensive Events Calendar, a Directory of area businesses, and the latest News and information About Saline.
The new VisitSaline.com website was developed by Saline-based web design and creative services firm Design Hub, in collaboration with the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC), JenMotion Marketing, MOEdesign and community stakeholders including the City of Saline, Saline Main Street, Saline Area Schools, and the Saline District Library among others.
Art Trapp, Executive Director of the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce, said, “The development and launch of Saline’s new destination branding campaign and website has been a truly collaborative community effort, and we are very grateful for the support of the Saline community, as well as from our neighbors in Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor. Saline’s new ‘Lightly Salted’ campaign has been very well-received, and has created a fun and engaging platform for Saline residents and businesses alike to gain a new appreciation for and understanding of our unique heritage and namesake.”
Named for its natural salt springs, Saline has been attracting visitors, both prehistoric and modern, to this region for over 12,000 years. Saline blends historic small town charm with leading edge opportunities…and a touch of spice. Keep an eye out for elements of Saline’s new “Lightly Salted” marketing campaign at Saline Summerfest on August 7-8, and at many of Saline’s other exciting community events throughout 2015. We hope you’ll join in all the fun opportunities that Saline has to offer and experience for yourself, “A Taste of the Good Life, Lightly Salted.”
