Ann Arbor now has two new restaurants in the downtown area! Both Knight's Downtown Steakhouse and Slurping Turtle opened in April. The two new restaurants are located right next door to each other near the corner of Liberty Street and State Street. Which one do you want to try first?
Knight's Steakhouse, a long-time institution on the west side of Ann Arbor, has opened a second location in Downtown Ann Arbor! A traditional steakhouse, the menu showcases steaks, prime rib, chicken, burgers and seafood. However, the other menu choices are equally tasty, including a variety of salads, sandwiches, and pastas. The restaurant offers a variety of lunch and dinner specials each day, so there's always something new to try!
The Slurping Turtle brings with it a little bit of Chicago to the heart of Ann Abor. The original Slurping Turtle was created by Award-Winning Chef Takashi and inspired by his childhood culinary experiences in Japan. When asked why Takashi selected Ann Arbor for the second location, he said "I fell in love with the culture of Ann Arbor." The restaurant strives to provide the essence of Japanese comfort food, and invites you to join them in their quest for the everlasting noodle.
Plan your trip to Ann Arbor today to enjoy these new restaurants!
