Costumes, corn mazes, and candy- oh my! It’s finally autumn here in the Ann Arbor area, and as the leaves change and the temperatures drop you know that that can only mean Halloween is just around the corner. Read more to discover all the ways to celebrate and get into the spirit of Halloween this year!

1.Briarwood Mall Boo Bash

-Trick-or-treating at the Mall from 5-6 p.m., and face-painting, games, and other kids' activities throughout the evening. Costumes encouraged!

2. Halloween Treat Parade

- Come one come all to the 17th annual Treat Parade in downtown Ann Arbor! Merchants welcome your costumed characters to the neighborhood with greets and treats. Black and orange balloons will fly from participating businesses. Join the fun on October 31st from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

3. Halloween Haunts Towsley Auditorium

-Get ready for a delightful evening of fun while enjoying spooky themes of scary music. Remember your costume because dressing up is encouraged!

4. Night Terrors at Wiard's Orchards  

- Wiard's Orchards has 6 different haunted houses so that you can celebrate Halloween with a scare! In addition, their daytime activities include apple picking, pumpkin patches, hay rides, and don’t forget to grab a cider and cinnamon donut while enjoying the crisp fall air.

5. Talladay Farms Corn MazeMilan

-For those wanting to experience more than the regular maze, a separate haunted maze opens Friday, October 6th, 2017 and is open Friday and Saturday nights, at dark, in October!  Beware, you’ll be sure to find an abundance of ghosts and ghouls!

6. Halloween Hootenanny

-The Hootenanny is a fun evening of Halloween treats and activities at Zingerman's Deli! There will be Pumpkin Drawing, Kooky Cookie Decorating, Face Painting and more. You’ll enjoy music and snacks like apple slices and popcorn as you participate at your own pace. Costumes are not required, but they are encouraged!

Parents attend for free! October 26, 2017, Thursday. Time 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Price:$8

7. Blast Corn Maze, Dexter, Open 9/23

-This maze has 3 exits (Short, medium, and full) as to accommodate many corn maze fans & enthusiasts.  Corn mazes not your thing? Come pick a pumpkin in our U-Pick Pumpkin Patch which is available during normal business hours.
