It seems like every week, the Michigan Theater announces a new event with a nationally recognized headliner. In October alone, the historic theater will host Mark Knopfler, Bill Maher, Patti Smith, David Sedaris and now, Drew Barrymore. Supporting the release of her autobiography, Wildflower, Barrymore will read excerpts from the book which is described as a, “portrait of Drew's life in stories as she looks back on the adventures, challenges, and incredible experiences of her earlier years.”
The event takes place on Wednesday, October 28. Tickets are $35 and $25 with limited Gold Circle seating available for $50. Gold Circle tickets include “first-in-line” priority for post-event book signing. All tickets include a hardcover copy of Wildflower which will be released nationally the day before our event.
Many will remember when Barrymore last visited the Ann Arbor area to film her directorial debut Whip It. You can also catch Barrymore in the Spielberg classic E.T. The Extra Terrestrial playing at the Michigan Theater on Saturday, October 17.
