Cocktail-lovers rejoice! The Ann Arbor Distilling Company is now open!

Located on Felch Street on the north side of downtown Ann Arbor in a historic building dating from 1910, the Ann Arbor Distilling Company is the newest hotspot in the city. Open 4 PM to 10 PM Tuesday through Sunday, the Distilling Company is quickly becoming known for its hand-crafted cocktails featuring spirits made on-site and lots of local ingredients from Ann Arbor area favorites - like olive brine from Zingerman’s and coffee from Mighty Good. Highlights on the seasonal cocktail menu include the Seasonal Shrub, the Honey Bee and the Clover Club – all featuring fresh produce and the highest-quality ingredients.

Ari Sussman, co-founder and distiller at the Ann Arbor Distilling Company, is delighted to partner with local farmers. The business purchases corn, cherries, wheat, rye, apples, raspberries, mint and pears to create its spirits, and around 85% of this produce comes from farms within thirty miles of Ann Arbor. The Distilling Company is currently serving its gin and vodka – and will soon offer additional spirits as well: brandy, rum, whiskey (bourbon, single malt and rye), and liqueurs. Currently, the tasting room serves drinks only – so this is a great spot to head for pre or post-dinner cocktails. Guests can also purchase bottled spirits to enjoy at home, as well.
