One of Ann Arbor's signature events will be celebrating its 40th anniversary at the end of January. Rooted in history and constantly striving to out-do itself, The Ann Arbor Folk Festival has once again collected an amazing amount of talent for the two-night event.
Singer-songwriter Susan Werner will be the master of ceremonies for both nights. Additional artists will be announced for Saturday night's line-up as well.
Friday, January 27
Saturday, January 28
The first Ann Arbor Folk Festival took place in 1977, and since then it’s grown in scope and depth. The range of genres and styles is large, the sense of tradition when all the evening’s performers join in song at the end of the Saturday show even stronger.
All funds raised through the Festival benefit The Ark, Ann Arbor’s non-profit home for folk, roots, and ethnic music.
