Instagram user @karthikpad artistically captured this solo fisherman at Gallup Park. If you haven't tried your hand at fishing on the Huron, we highly recommend giving it a shot! If you'd like a guide, Schultz Outfitters in Ypsilanti or the Painted Trout in Dexter are great places to inquire.

When you're exploring the town of Dexter, be sure to stop by to see their friendly troll in Mill Creek Park! Photo courtesy of Instagram user @aribick.

White Lotus Farms is an Ann Arbor area hidden gem! The sprawling grounds, located just west of Ann Arbor, are home to a cheesmaking facility, a bakery, and lots of friendly animals. These goats were captured in a photo by Instagram user @yanasdarkroom.

Another great photo from @yanasdarkroom – we love this photo of a hammock relaxation session on the banks of the Huron, at Nichols Arboretum.

Canoeing and kayaking the Huron is a classic #VisitAnnArbor experience - but be sure to also check out the trails near the river! This photo, from Instagram user @c.mcc.l, was taken near Argo Pond.

Instagram user @karthikpad creates beautiful images. We're very fond of this one, taken at Matthaei Botanical Gardens, at sunset. We highly recommend a sunset hike in one of the Ann Arbor area parks!
