Soccer at the Big House

May 06, 2016

Quick. Let’s do a little word association. What’s the first thing you think of when you hear: Michigan Stadium? Is it Ann Arbor, The Big House, Wolverine Football or Coach Jim Harbaugh? Well, there’s a new tradition forming in this sacred house which is proving to be a very popular location for a different kind of football.

On July 30, the International Champions Cup returns to Ann Arbor with a friendly match between Spain’s Real Madrid and England’s Chelsea FC. This will be the second game of its kind played at Michigan Stadium and all indications are pointing to another tremendous event, including a carnival-like atmosphere outside the gates prior to the game.

Tickets are still available, including VIP Ticket Packages, so plan a summer weekend getaway to Ann Arbor to experience elite soccer played in the largest stadium in the U.S. More information about weekend festivities will come — and you can be assured that there will be a lot to experience!
