Let’s Chill Winter Fest

February 1 – 2

Let’s Chill Winter Fest in Milan features activities for individuals of all ages. The winter festival spans the downtown shopping area, Wilson Park and Edgetown. Activities include a chili cook-off, the area’s only Wine Walk, indoor and outdoor winter games, ice carving, an artisan tent, food, and more. Free shuttle service will run between all major event areas and parking lots, making it easily accessible for everyone. Warming stations in the downtown area and a large bonfire in Wilson Park offers warmth and ambiance.

Curling Fest

February 8 – 10

Enjoy a weekend curling fun in Chelsea for beginners and experienced competitors, with a tournament and learn-to-curl sessions.   Curling Fest is a 3-day event featuring a tournament on Saturday for both experienced and novice competitors and learn-to-curl ice time on Friday and Sunday. Spectators are welcome to come and watch the bonspiel (term for curling tournament) free of charge. Curling Fest has bonfires to warm your toes, hot drinks to warm your spirit, music, food, beer, cocktails and more.

The Ark's 32nd Annual Storytelling Festival

February 22 – 23

Each year, The Ark's Storytelling Festival brings masters of the tale from near and from far to pay tribute to humanity's oldest art. This year's tellers are Laura Simms, Edgar Oliver, and Ivory D. Williams. Laura Simms combines traditional stories with personal narrative.  Edgar Oliver brings experience from New York’s downtown theatre community, and appeared with The Moth. Ivory D. Williams, from Michigan, interweaves his stories with humor, wit, and fun to engage audiences and spread positive messages, promoting and perpetuating the ancient art of African and African-American storytelling in the oral tradition.
