The Ann Arbor Art Fair is one of Michigan’s finest summer traditions and one of the largest outdoor art fairs in the nation. From Thursday, July 21 to Sunday, July 24, the streets of Ann Arbor will transform into an art lover’s paradise where you can experience and enjoy original works of art, street performances, culinary treats and a variety of sidewalk sales. From seasoned art enthusiasts to novice collectors, thousands will make the trip to discover something truly inspiring.

For more than 50 years, artists with amazing talents and unsurpassed skills have exhibited at The Ann Arbor Art Fair. Featuring more than 1,000 juried artists, this renowned event transforms Ann Arbor into an impressive outdoor art gallery, showcasing the best in fine art and fine crafts.

GETTING TO THE ART FAIR

Shuttle Services
Free and convenient parking options are available at three Park & Ride locations.

  • Briarwood Mall (Thursday-Sunday)
    • Operated by TheRide
    • Parking free
    • Round-trip $3; one way $1.50
    • K-12 Students with student ID & Fare Deal cardholders,
      one-way $.75
    • Senior/A-Ride, GoldRide cardholders, and
      kids five and younger ride free
    • Shuttle stops: Main Street at William and on State Street near South University
    • Buses return to both parking locations from either shuttle bus stops
    • Thursday – Saturday, 9am – 10pm
    • Sunday – 11am – 7pm
       
  • Pioneer High School (Thursday-Saturday)
    • Operated by TheRide
    • Parking free

Parking at Downtown Structures & Lots
Limited parking is available in downtown Ann Arbor structures and lots at $15 per day, $7 after 5 p.m. Parking is also offered at area churches, schools, and other organizations throughout downtown; rates vary. Downtown parking will fill quickly. View map of parking lots and structures.
 

Area Road Construction and Closures

  • M-14: Closed between Miller Road and Main Street. Westbound traffic diverted to Main Street. Eastbound traffic diverted to Miller Road. Alternate route advised.
  • US-12/Michigan Avenue (Saline): Westbound traffic down to one lane. Eastbound traffic diverted to Monroe Street and Maple Road.
  • I-94: Nighttime and weekend single-lane closures between US-12 and Rawsonville Road.
  • North University and Fletcher
  • Main Street and William
  • State Street and Madison



GETTING AROUND THE ART FAIR
The Ann Arbor Art Fair spans an impressive 30 city blocks and, while this is definitely walkable, fair attendees should also take advantage of the FREE and air-conditioned Art Fair Art-Go- Round to shuttle among the fairs and around Ann Arbor with ease all day long.

  • Wheelchair accessible

 

Accessibility
Shuttles and the Art-Go- Round are wheelchair accessible. University of Michigan Health Systems Home Care Services will provide free wheelchairs at three locations conveniently located near shuttle stops. Call 734-747- 2569 for information.
