The Ann Arbor Washington House is operated by Sarah Okuyama, who also operates the Burnt Toast Inn. The Washington House offers travellers a more private, self-sufficiant bed and breakfast option. Ther is no innkeeper on site, and the house includes a full kitchen for guest use. The whole house can be rented (for up to five people), and single-room rentals are also available.
At Washington House, the goal is for guests to feel as if they have "gotten away from it all" for a while. There are no phones or computers, although there are electrical outlets in every room. Don't forget to bring your cell phone! No children, please.
