YPT’s very own local young people take center stage with one of the world’s best-loved musicals, Annie! With equal
measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts, despite a next - to - nothing start in 1930’s
New York City.

Annie, based on the popular comic strip heroine, is determined to find her parents who abandoned her years ago on the
doorstep of a New York City Orphanage and overcome her “hard - knock” life. With the help of all the girls in the
orphanage, Annie escapes to the wondrous and magical world of New York City. She foils Miss Hannigan’s evil plot,
befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and finds a new home and family with billionaire, Oliver Warbucks and a
loveable mutt named Sandy
